Why do many dealers give the statement
"1440x234 RGB pixel in TFT
models" on?
Because
they do not want to know it or
want to conceal the customer:
Each display with this resolution
must be divided to get the RGB
resolution.
Example: 480X234 pixel, the statement
"1440" must be divided
through factor "3" (stands
for the base colors Red-Green-Blue).
This display has a special characteristic:
At the movies in 16: 9 format
(which do not come directly from
a DVD player - as example DivX
or TV-transmitter) the black edges
can be manually erased - through
this way the most panel surface
is used for the movie, not for
black widescreen stripes - it
receives the full DVD resolution
!
(PAL 4:3 = 720X576 pixel, Widescreen
VGA = 800x480; extended picture
without black edges).

Owners
of the NVIDIA graphic cards can
regulate the KEYSTONE over the
drivers! Therewith projections
are possible out of certain angles!
Not
each TFT display cannot be used
for the project:
Many
displays must be separated laboriously
by the electronics by soldering.
At the same time dangerous temperatures
can destroy the sensitive display
electronics.
Many
favorable displays have conduct
gum connections between the panel
and the electronics - if they
are removed, is the display no
longer operational.
Many
displays have soldered data connections.
We get support inquiries whether
such displays can be used generally.
We dissuade therefrom. Transmission
errors from panel to the controller
are to be expected here to 95%
of the cases (see pictures).
Photos
from one inquiry:
cheap displays are very often
found with fixed connection

Bought - and the customer cannot
use it!
